The problem
Every Sixth Street owner knows the text: a bartender can't make it, it's 7pm, and the night is about to get expensive. Finding a reliable fill-in usually means calling around and hoping.
What we built
- A web-based marketplace at shiftchef.co — no app download required for venues or workers.
- Roles for bartenders, door security, line and prep cooks, dishwashers and kitchen staff.
- Live database and secure online payments for job posts, with the first post free.
- An admin dashboard to manage users, jobs and venues.
