NIGHTFORM
Case study

The Rainey House: an intergalactic disco, online.

A concept site we designed for a Rainey Street bungalow bar that had no website — built to show what a Nightform site could do on day one.

THE RAINEY HOUSE

Concept site — designed on spec, not a client engagement.

The opportunity

The Rainey House is a space-age cocktail lounge in a 1969 family bungalow on Rainey Street — mirror-ball saucer, neon, an arcade and a heated patio. Its old website had lapsed, so anyone searching for it found nothing but third-party listings.

What we designed

  • A space-age, atomic-era design that matches the room instead of a generic bar template.
  • Clear hours, location, and what makes the bar different, written for people deciding where to go tonight.
  • A structure ready to grow into a 10+ page site with local-search pages for Rainey Street and downtown Austin nightlife.

Why we build concepts

Owners are busy. Showing a finished concept is faster than describing one — they can see their bar, on their phone, before deciding anything. It's how we work with venues across Rainey Street.
